If the user does not accept the terms and conditions of this offer, s/he is not allowed to register and pay for e-tickets.

Before paying for an electronic ticket, make sure your printer is on and functioning correctly!

After paying for your e-ticket, an e-ticket control coupon is generated. The control coupon is a strict liability document. In order to board suburban trains and pass through the turnstiles, passengers should hold the machine-readable field with the two-dimensional bar code on the tear-off portion of the control ticket) face down to the display.

Order cancellations after completing the payment procedure and crediting the money to the bank card cannot be made through the site.

1. Rules for ordering tickets online

Before booking your e-ticket order to purchase an e-ticket, you must either undergo authentication on the site or set up an account. You should remember your personal password in order to view information about your orders.

When placing a ticket purchase order, details of the proposed journey and each passenger must be entered in the relevant boxes.

E-tickets can be purchased no earlier than 10 days before the date of the trip.

Passengers can only book e-tickets at the "full" fare for one single or return trip using the site.

A single ticket for one single trip is only valid for one journey on the calendar date specified on the ticket and for one hour on the following calendar dates.

Apart from one single leg, a return ticket is valid for one single return leg during the 24 hours shown on the ticket and on the following calendar dates.

The carrier can set periods for the validity of tickets for single journeys exceeding those shown.

Electronic tickets cannot be booked for more than two routes and 5 dates for the completion of the journey and four passengers with their personal data on any one order.

Before paying for your electronic ticket, it is recommend that you familiarise yourself with the suburban train timetable.

Placing orders and obtaining e-tickets cannot be done when the Express system is down for technical reasons between 3:30 and 4:00 Moscow time.

Tickets can be booked via the website 10 days prior to the date of trip from 8:00 a.m. Moscow time.

2. Entering passenger data

Please fill in carefully the details of all the passengers on the order. Check once again that the information you have entered is correct before beginning the payment procedure.

The passenger's personal data must comply with the data specified in her identity document. If the personal data in the document are given in two languages (Russian and the Latin alphabet), information must be entered in Russian when filling in orders.

In the event of an error in the personal data of the passengers or their identity documents, you must enter the corrected information before making your payment.

Users ordering e-tickets are acting on behalf of all the passengers on the booking. As such, all passengers on the booking are considered to be aware of the terms and conditions covering boarding and travelling on the train. The person making the order bears full responsibility for entering the correct travel details and personal data of each passenger.

Passengers should in particular note that in the event of an error when entering the identity document numbers or other personal data, the passenger will be considered as travelling without ticket and will be unable to make the train journey.

3. Paying for e-tickets

Paying for e-tickets can be made using cards issued by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro international payment systems Visa International and MasterCard International. Payment by credit card is made after order verification and confirmation by routing to the payment gateway of the bank VTB24. 12 minutes are allowed for you to make the order payment and enter your credit card details. If you exceed this set time, your order will be cancelled.

When paying for the order, the following credit card details must be entered: first name and surname of the bank card holder, the card number, card expiry date and the card's three-digit code (CVV2 or CVC2). For details of online payments using your credit card, or reasons why your payment has been rejected, please contact your bank's support service.

The security of the payment procedure is ensured by SSL, a protocol for encrypting traffic sent over the Internet.

Features of payment by Visa Electron and Maestro:

Make sure that your card has the CVV2 (CVC2) code on the reverse side of the card.
For the Attention of holders of cards issued by foreign banks! In accordance with the requirements of international payment systems, in order to improve security when making payments, 3D Secure/Secure Code technology is used, which is a special technology for making secure payments on the Internet. If your bank does not have the appropriate certificate for using this technology, you may not be able to make your payment. If your payment is rejected, please contact customer support at the bank that issued your card.

In accordance with the requirements of 3D Secure/Secure Code technology, when paying for the order, the bank which issued the card may require the cardholder to undergo additional identification. The need for additional identification and how it is obtained are determined solely by the issuing bank. If for some reason you have not received an order number, an e-ticket or a confirmation that your order has been accepted, go to "My Orders" before making a repeat order and ensure that the order was in fact not processed

In the event of a dispute about debiting funds when paying for e-tickets, passengers should call 8-800-775-24-24 and contact the bank which issued their card.

4. Obtaining the electronic ticket's control coupon

After paying for your e-ticket, an e-ticket control coupon is generated (excerpt from the automated passenger management system in rail transport), which lists the number of your order (14 digits) and e-ticket (14 digits). If there is just one ticket on the order, the order number and e-ticket number match. If the order contains more than one passenger, and (or) more than one date, and (or) more than one route, the order number and e-ticket number of the first passenger on the order match.

The control coupon consists of a visual and computer-readable field with a two-dimensional bar code (tear-off portion of the control coupon) and contains information about the electronic ticket.

In accordance with Decree No. 322 issued by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on 21.08.2012, the control coupon excerpt from the automated passenger management system in rail transport is a document of strict accountability and is used for making payments using bank cards without using cash register equipment.

Be sure to print out the control coupon e-ticket!

If the order is for more than one passenger, and (or) more than one date, and (or) more than one route, the detachable parts of the control coupon can be printed on one sheet for your convenience.

The e-ticket control coupon is invalid without the detachable part with the two-dimensional bar code, which allows passage (through the turnstile).

Information on suburban train timetables on the detachable part of the control coupon is for reference and is not a condition of the passenger carriage agreement.

If you have lost the control coupon, log into the section "My Orders" using your password and find the order you want. If necessary, re-print the control coupon or its detachable parts.

5. Ticket control

Under the contract of carriage, the carrier undertakes to carry the passenger to the destination and the passenger is obliged to pay for the passage. The conclusion of the passenger carriage agreement is certified by the ticket.

The passenger's train ticket is checked at the railway station and stops en route when the passenger proceeds to the suburban commuter train via the ticket checkpoint (if such a checkpoint exists), on board the train and when the passenger exits through the ticket checkpoint (if such a checkpoint exists) after completing the journey.

5.1. Ticket control when passing through ticket checkpoints

The detachable part of the control coupon with the two-dimensional bar code with a valid electronic ticket allows passengers to pass through the turnstiles. To pass through a turnstile, cut off the detachable part of the control coupon or fold it along the marked line.

When passing through the turnstiles, the detachable part of the control coupon with the two-dimensional bar code must be placed in the special receptacle (in the form of a flat slot on the front panel at the top of the turnstile) with the bar code face down. After the green LED comes on, indicating that the turnstile is open, the passenger can proceed.

If an electronic ticket is invalid (if the date of travel, the route, itinerary or train category are wrong, a second attempt is made to pass through the turnstile, or the ticket is false), the red indicator comes on and the turnstile will not open. A second passage through the turnstile is impossible with a ticket for a single trip.

Tickets purchased by passengers for a commuter train should be retained throughout the journey and up to the moment of exit through the ticket checkpoint (if such a checkpoint exists) at the railway station and stopping points.

Passengers who do not present a ticket when exiting through the ticket checkpoint are considered as travelling without a ticket and will be required to pay the fare in accordance with the rules of passenger, luggage and baggage transportation, as well as a fine in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

5.2. Ticket control when en route on commuter trains

When boarding the train, passengers should produce a properly completed ticket and the identity document on the basis of which the ticket is acquired. The ticket should indicate the passenger's name and the identity document number.

Tickets cannot be transferred to other persons and are valid only when presenting appropriate identification documents. Ticket resales are not allowed.

Passengers travelling on a suburban commuter train without a ticket or with an invalid ticket are considered as travelling without a ticket and will be required to pay the fare in accordance with the rules of passenger, luggage and baggage transportation, as well as a fine in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

In the event that the passenger's surname or identity document number do not match the surname or number specified on the ticket, the passenger is considered as travelling without a ticket.

When passengers interrupt their journey on a ticket for a single trip, the contract of carriage shall be unilaterally deemed void. A resumption or continuation of the journey in such cases is impossible since the ticket is invalid.

6. Refunds on unused e-tickets

Refunds of unused tickets for a single journey on a suburban commuter train without a seat reservation are made ??in the event of unscheduled interruptions to commuter train services lasting more than an hour and can be obtained at the carrier's ticket office during the time of the interruption by presenting the passenger identity document whose number is shown on the ticket.


Travel on suburban trains are governing by the following laws and regulations:

  • Federal Law No. 18-FЗ “Railway Transport Charter of the Russian Federation” dated 10 January 2003.
  • Government Decree No. 111 dated 2 March 2005 approved the rules for the provision of services for the transport of passengers, as well as freight, luggage and extra-large luggage for personal, family, domestic and other needs, but not when related to the performance of entrepreneurial activities.
  • Order No. 473 of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated 19 December 2013 approved the rules covering the transportation of luggage and extra-large luggage by rail.
  • Order No. 322 issued by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on 21 August 2012 regulates the establishment of forms of electronic tickets on railway transport.
