car-salonRussian Railways offers the following types of carriages for tourist trips.

Compartment carriages with the classic 4-berth compartments.

Two kinds of sleeper carriages - 16 and 18 berth. Sleeper carriages consist of comfortable 2-berth compartments with horizontal berths. The 16-berth carriage is equipped with a shower.

The salon carriage combines all the amenities of a five-star hotel and a working office and allows you to hold business conferences en route.

Designed for 5-7 people, the carriage interior consists of:

  • saloon for rest and conferences;
  • cabinet-bedroom with fixed double bed, separate modern shower and toilet with heated floors;
  • 2-berth luxury compartment with bath unit;
  • 4-berth compartment;
  • compartment kitchen;

The VIP carriage provides passengers with the comfort level of a suite in a high-class hotel. The carriage has 4 to 6 compartments, each with a sleeping area and bathroom. In some VIP cars, there is also a lounge bar.

The VIP carriage is equipped with:

  • twin beds;
  • wardrobe;
  • convertible table with sofa;
  • entresol for luggage.

The VIP bathroom has:

  • shower;
  • hand basin;
  • environmentally-friendly toilet;
  • floor heating.

Restaurant car. Russian Railways has several unique restaurant cars stylised according to different eras and decorated with natural materials. The menu includes European and Russian cuisine.

Carriage bar. A unique car with a music room, divided into two functional areas: a relaxation area with comfortable armchairs, and a restaurant area with a dance floor and piano. The carriage bar is ideal for cocktail parties, themed evenings and holiday events.

The carriage hall is a single area which can be fitted out according to the aims of the trip and used for banquets, business meetings and conferences. The hall can accommodate up to 64 people.

Carriage shower. A special carriage whose compartments are individual showers. The carriages are in two versions, with 4 to 7 shower cabins and individual changing rooms in each.
