For the Disabled
The Centre for the Promotion of Mobility at Russian Railways provides information about rail transport services provided to passengers with disabilities and accepts requests for the provision of situational assistance at stations for passengers with disabilities of the musculoskeletal system, hearing and vision, as well as reservations for specialised places for people with disabilities on long-distance trains.
Requests for and enquiries about the service can be made by telephone on 8-800-510-11-11, which operates round the clock seven days a week.
As part of the Centre"s development, it is planned to offer services to commuter rail passengers by participating in the work of the regional carriers, namely the suburban passenger rail companies.
Russian Railways would be grateful to passengers for proposals for the further development of the Centre for the Promotion of Mobility.
In order to improve the service quality to passengers, from 1 January 2016 written information is provided free of charge on the cost of travel and rail routes to passengers with disabilities and their accompanying persons upon presentation of the relevant documents.
