Moscow Central Ring

Passengers on the Moscow Central Ring can change to 14 stations on the Moscow Metro and to on 6 railway stops in radial directions. In future years, the opening of all the planned transport hubs will allow passengers to choose and plan even more convenient routes:

  • 17 stops on the Moscow Central Ring will be interconnected with 18 stations on the Moscow Metro;
  • 10 stops on the Moscow Central Ring will be interconnected with 9 stations and stops on the Moscow railway hub.

The Moscow Central Ring has a total of 31 stops.

New passenger infrastructure and a fare payment system are integrated into the urban public transport system.

Passenger transport service on the Moscow Central Ring is operated by the High-Speed Directorate, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, and is provided by Lastochka electric trains based at the depot "Moscow".

Trains run at intervals of 6 minutes during the rush hours (weekdays 07:30-11:30 and 17:00-20:30, at weekends and public holidays 13:00-18:00) and 12 minutes during off-peak times.

It takes trains 84 minutes to complete a full circuit of the Moscow Central Ring, which is open daily from 5:50 to 00:30.
