During the World Cup from 14 June to 15 July 2018, fans who have match tickets or a document which entitles them to receive a match ticket, together with a FAN ID, have the option of free railway transfers on the extra trains being laid on between the cities where the matches will take place.

In order to be eligible for free railway transfers on the extra trains running between the venues, fans must:

  1. purchase a ticket for a match which will take place in one of the 2018 World Cup host cities;
  2. register and receive a FAN ID on the website;
  3. register on the website and book their railway transfer to one of the 2018 World Cup host cities.


When boarding extra trains, passengers must present:

  • The identity document on which the ticket was booked,
  • Fan ID,
  • A ticket for a match or a confirmed ticket application.

Train timetable for matches:

After completing the registration procedure, an information letter will be sent to the e-mail of the user indicated during registration which contains all the information about the seat/berth on the selected additional train.

During the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, foreign fans are eligible to enter and leave Russian Federation without a visa if they have a registered FAN ID and proof of identification officially recognised as such in Russian Federation (passport).

In order to avoid forced disembarkation from the train when travelling to or from Kaliningrad by the border control authorities of the Republic of Lithuania, passenger must have documents (i.e. visas) with them which confirming the possibility of transit passage through the territory of the Republic of Lithuania.
