All customs and border formalities are carried out onboard the Allegro.
The border guards and customs officers have been assigned a designated area on the train.
Passengers must have a valid passport and visa when crossing the Russian-Finland border.
Foreign citizens cannot enter Russia with electronic visas on Allegro trains. This is due to the fact that the electronic visa is invalid when crossing the state border of the Russian Federation by rail at the railway checkpoints Buslovskaya, Vyborg, St. Petersburg-Finlyandsky.
Prior to the border control in Russia, all passengers who are not citizens of the Russian Federation must complete a migration card and inbound customs declaration form (if necessary). Documents are available on the train. Upon arrival in Finland and before passports are checked, passengers should complete the U-Card, except for those citizens who do not require visas (in accordance with the existing list of Finnish Railways).
